This hand made capiz tray is lovely side for a bedside table or a smaller desk- the technique of dip dying is created by hand painting.  And BTW- each piece of shell is meticulously pieced to create a stunning pattern beneath the lacquer.

The natural texture of the shell speaks for itself and it is so dramatic with the black dip dye.
